One. Four. Five.

just a simple 'hello'

Shared experience

Edinburgh, Scotland - The only trip i took alone

What is the point in travelling? To see the world? To taste the culture difference? To experience things one cannot in their own city? I say all of the above. Then why do I have the aversion to travelling alone? If the point is to gain new experiences focusing on the novelty of the location, why is it so important to me that people come with me? Surely by going with other people you 'lose focus' on the location. That's why people always say that you get to experience more when you go abroad by yourself. Is it because I am unwilling to sever myself from the comfort of having people I know, needing to have with me a sense of familiarity, not able to truly let go of home.

Or is it just more fun that way?

i seem to get what you mean, but i don't dare to say so until i go on a trip by myself.

but well, atm i'm also the type that enjoy company during travelling, but i think at some stages or some occasions in our lives, we'll have this sudden urge or impulse to travel somewhere foreign independently.
